I've been waiting a long time for this one. Good animation (as usual from JohnnyUtah), loved the humor and references.
Loved the easter egg, by the way.
"you should have used the pythagorean theorem, bitch."
Loved it.
I can't find any words to describe just how awesome this video is. The animation was almost flawless, and the drawing style was both original and beautiful. And, to think that this was drawn with the mouse is even more impressive!
I loved the music. If possible, could you supply me and other Newgrounders with a place to buy this stuff?
I also looked through your Devian art. Excellent stuff there, keep up the great drawings and such.
Let me start by saying that your flashes are among my favorites. Your characters are hilarious, the voice acting is impeccable, and basically everthing about them is funny.
HOWEVER-
This flash just doesnt do it for me. Sure, there are some funny parts (the truck full of fish and hammers made me snicker) but overall, the humor which makes up so much of your other submissions wasn't quite there. While Bjorn is a hilarious character, i think that he is a lot more fun when he's paired with his friends (George, Stefon, etc.).
Keep up the awesome work with voice acting. That adds so much to this. Also- I know that the lack of continuity gives more freedom to put the characters in any situation you please, but the Bad Guys In Space cartoon (in my opinion) is just BEGGING for a sequel.
I'd also like to see more of Stefon, if possible. Maybe his own mini-flash?
That's all.
a touching movie. Good graphics, but i think the style could have been a bit.. i dunno...
Animation was good but nothing astounding. Good message i think.
Also - to the person before me... Nine Inch Nails did in fact write the song. Johnny Cash, while having been around before Nine Inch Nails, was the one who made a cover of the song. I know, this suprised me too when I first found out.
Very nice style and graphics. I liked the song too
But- it was extremely similar to the new iPod commercials. Same song, same style.
Nothing wrong with that, just try and be a little more original.
Well, it was well animated, and had a good concept.
BUT!
it would have been MILLIONS of times more enjoyable if you had actually MADE the level in line rider and used Flash to edit the detailed parts.
Other than that, it was fine. Music was, not the worst ive ever heard.
Pretty good music video for an excellent song. One real complaint: that was only like, half the song. it was missing the "sweet loretta martin" bit. Eh. i suppose you realized that while making it.
Also, the characters were a bit undetailed. Add at least a little more color or detail next time around. Your lip-synching was pretty good.
Not bad!
Thanks. The song was from the new Beatles Album "Love" with some of their songs. I think the songs are remixed a bit, or the song was split since I did use the whole song. For the characters I was using the brush tool and mouse, so my hand was becoming annoyed with me.
Excellent zombie-survival game... I only have two bones to pick...
One, there should have been more weapons. There were lots of weapons in the game, but variety is the spice of life! maybe a baseball bat as a starting weapon? or a sniper rifle that had a laser sight? maybe a napalm launcher or flame thrower?
Two, you could take serious advantage of the zombies. For example, in the Tunnels level, you could block off each entrance with barrels and just throw grenades in. If you accidentally set the barrels off, you could make an ammo run and replace them. The zombies should be able to at least push the barrels out of the way. or maybe you could make it so when three of them work together one of them climbs over? just a suggestion.
Napalm launcher sounds great! Doing it as we speak! Also Barrels will change and I think one solution would be is to allow the zombies to attack the barrels and blow them up!
There are tons of similar games here on Newgrounds, but you did a pretty good job. My only real beef is the spelling. But that doesnt really matter.
Also, consider adding level passwords or a save function, as if you miss one yyou have to start all over again.
